A Collector’s Guide to the Cohiba Storage Cabinet
A cigar cabinet should support stable storage, easy inspection and realistic maintenance. For Cohiba or any other fine cigar collection, the correct specification depends on capacity, room conditions and how often the cabinet is opened.
Size for circulation and growth
Avoid packing cigars tightly against one another or blocking airflow paths. Allow space for boxes, singles and a sensible amount of collection growth.
Choose a stable room position
Keep the cabinet away from sunlight, exterior heat and direct AC airflow. Follow the cigar maker or trusted specialist’s storage guidance rather than treating one setting as universal for every collection.
Verify the equipment fitted
If active humidification, cooling or monitoring is offered, ask for the model, operating range, maintenance schedule and service route. Do not describe the cabinet as climate-controlled when that equipment is not present.
Maintain the system
Calibrate sensors, replenish or clean the humidification system and inspect seals regularly. A lock may control everyday access, but it does not create certified safe protection.
