The Heirloom Promise

SIRAE CASA

— Dubai —

The Heirloom Promise

Our commitment to every piece that leaves the atelier

A SIRAE Casa creation is not a product. It is a piece — designed in our atelier, crafted by master hands over weeks of patient work, and built to be held for generations. Our promise reflects that intention.

The terms below set out the formal commitments that accompany every SIRAE Casa piece, alongside the lifelong care services we extend to each of our connoisseurs. Where the language of these terms reads as legal, the spirit behind them remains as it has always been: a long, attentive relationship between SIRAE Casa and the piece that bears our name.

Article 1 — Scope of Application

These Heirloom Promise terms apply to SIRAE Casa pieces acquired on or after the Effective Date stated above, through our directly-operated atelier in Dubai or any retailer authorised in writing by SIRAE Casa. The promise commences on the date of original acquisition as evidenced by the original proof of purchase.

Article 2 — Definitions

“Structural Components” means the primary frame of the piece, the closure system between lid and base, the load-bearing connection of hinges, and the structural substrate of the interior lining.

“Electronic Components” means the fingerprint locking module, the LED illumination system, and their associated driving circuitry and embedded wiring, where fitted.

“Decorative and Surface Elements” means the exterior leather, copper-wire inlay, metal fittings, stitching, and ornamental details of the piece.

“Normal Use” means private domestic display or personal use under reasonable conditions. It does not include commercial rental, film or media production, prolonged outdoor exposure, professional freight handling, or use following any unauthorised modification.

“Natural Evolution” means the physical and visual changes that natural materials undergo over time as an inherent property of the material itself, and which do not constitute a defect.

Article 3 — The Coverage

3.1   Ten-Year Structural Coverage

For a period of ten (10) years from the date of acquisition, under conditions of Normal Use, SIRAE Casa guarantees that the Structural Components of the piece shall be free from defects in manufacturing or workmanship. This covers:

Cracking, deformation, or structural failure of the piece's body frame

Detachment or functional failure of the closure system between lid and base

Structural fracture of the hinges or failure of their connection to the body

Comprehensive delamination or large-area separation of the interior lining substrate

These are the bones of the piece. They are the parts that make a creation hold its form across decades and generations. We stand behind them entirely.

3.2   Three-Year Electronic Coverage

For a period of three (3) years from the date of acquisition, under conditions of Normal Use, SIRAE Casa guarantees that the Electronic Components of the piece shall be free from manufacturing defects. This covers:

Recognition failure or circuit failure of the fingerprint locking module

Non-induced failure of the LED lighting module and its driving circuit

Non-external failure of the embedded wiring and connections of the Electronic Components

Batteries, battery replacement, and the natural depletion of battery capacity are expressly excluded from coverage under this clause — they are designed to be replaced as part of the piece's ongoing life.

Article 4 — Outside the Promise

The following circumstances do not constitute defects and fall outside the scope of the warranty. For all such matters, our atelier offers paid care services on the terms set out in our Care Service Conditions.

4.1   Natural Evolution Is Not a Defect

The materials we work with — copper, leather, fine timber — are alive in their own way. The following changes are part of how we design, and form an organic part of the SIRAE Casa aesthetic. They are not flaws. They are the visible record of a piece coming into its own.

Oxidation, tonal change, and patina formation on the copper-wire inlay and other metal fittings

Natural shifts in colour, softening, grain evolution, and patina development in the leather

Minor variation in timber colour or grain arising from changes in ambient temperature or humidity

4.2   Normal Wear from Use

The following are inherent to use over time and are not covered by the warranty:

Wear, indentation, or surface scratching to leather edges and corners arising from use

Natural relaxation or aging of stitching over time

Surface scratches or coating wear on hardware

Normal depletion of decorative elements arising from daily use

4.3   Force Majeure and Improper Use

The warranty does not cover:

Damage caused by water immersion, fire, extreme temperature or humidity, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight

Damage caused by drops, impacts, overloading, or other accidents

Damage occurring in transit, which is addressed through the carrier's insurance

Damage arising from commercial rental, film and media production, public exhibition, or any other use exceeding the scope of private domestic display

4.4   Third-Party Intervention

Where a piece has been subjected to repair, modification, cleaning, recolouring, or part replacement by any party other than SIRAE Casa or a SIRAE-authorised atelier, SIRAE Casa reserves the right to declare the entire warranty void. We take this position to ensure that every piece returned to the atelier bears only the hands that made it.

Article 5 — Conditions of the Promise

5.1   When applying for warranty service, the connoisseur shall present the original proof of purchase issued by our directly-operated atelier or an authorised retailer, or shall provide purchase records retrievable through SIRAE Casa's internal systems.

5.2   The piece must be authenticated by our atelier as a genuine SIRAE Casa creation before any warranty claim is processed. Authentication is part of the care we take with every piece that returns to us.

5.3   This Promise attaches to the piece itself and may be transferred together with the original proof of purchase upon transfer of the piece. A subsequent owner presenting the original proof of purchase shall enjoy equivalent rights for the remaining warranty period, calculated from the original date of acquisition. Such transfer shall neither extend nor reset the original warranty period. The piece carries its promise forward through generations.

Article 6 — How to Make a Claim

6.1   Claims may be submitted through any of the following channels:

Our boutique on Jumeirah Beach Road, Umm Suqeim 1, Dubai

The SIRAE Casa client service line

The after-sales service form on siraecasa.com

6.2   SIRAE Casa shall complete an initial assessment within ten (10) business days of receiving complete application materials and shall respond with a written or electronic plan setting out the proposed resolution and estimated timeline.

6.3   Logistics costs within the United Arab Emirates shall be borne by SIRAE Casa. Logistics arrangements and associated costs for international service shall be agreed separately between SIRAE Casa and the connoisseur.

Article 7 — The Resolutions Available to Us

7.1   Within the scope of warranty coverage, SIRAE Casa shall, at its discretion, fulfil its obligations through one or more of the following means:

       Complimentary repair by the atelier

       Replacement of defective components

Replacement of the piece with one of the same model

Where none of the foregoing remedies is feasible, the offer of a credit of equivalent value or a reasonable refund

7.2   No repair or replacement shall reset the original warranty period. The promise is calculated from the original date of acquisition.

Article 8 — Lifetime Care from the Atelier

Beyond the warranty period, and for circumstances outside its scope, our atelier offers paid restoration and care services for as long as a piece is part of your collection.

This is not warranty — it is a service. Hand-finished leather refurbishment. Copper repolishing. Hardware replacement. Re-stitching. Component refresh on integrated electronics. Whatever the piece needs, however many years on.

We see this as the natural continuation of the relationship that began the day the piece arrived. Pricing is shared at the time of assessment, and detailed terms are set out in our Care Service Conditions.

Article 9 — Limitation of Liability

9.1   To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SIRAE Casa's total liability arising out of any defect in a piece shall be limited to the remedies described in these terms.

9.2   SIRAE Casa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from any defect in a piece, including but not limited to loss of commercial profit, loss of collectible value, or loss of or damage to items stored within the piece.

9.3   Nothing in these terms shall affect any non-waivable statutory rights to which the connoisseur is entitled under the mandatory consumer protection laws of the connoisseur's jurisdiction.

Article 10 — Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be governed by the laws in force in the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be resolved through amicable conversation between SIRAE Casa and the connoisseur. Where such conversation does not result in resolution, the dispute shall be referred to the Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) for arbitration in accordance with its rules then in force.

Article 11 — Amendment of Terms

SIRAE Casa reserves the right to amend these terms. No such amendment shall affect the original warranty terms applicable to pieces acquired prior to the effective date of the amendment.

This promise is offered in the spirit of how we work — slowly, deliberately, and with the intention that every piece we make outlasts us. Where anything in this document requires interpretation, we will lean toward the connoisseur. That has been our practice from the beginning, and it will remain so.
