Storing Gold Bullion in Doha: Certified Safe and Custody Considerations
Gold bullion is not an ordinary household possession. Storage decisions should begin with documented risk, insurance conditions and access needs, not with the appearance of the container.
Verify the safe, not the marketing
Ask a qualified supplier for the exact burglary-resistance standard, grade, lock certification and fire documentation for the model offered. Confirm that the certificate applies to the complete safe and not only to one component.
Installation is part of the rating
A certified unit may still fail its intended purpose if it is not anchored or installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Site access, floor loading, concealment and emergency procedures should be reviewed before delivery.
Confirm insurance in writing
Insurers may set maximum values by safe grade, require alarm monitoring or impose specific installation conditions. Obtain written confirmation before relying on a policy assumption.
Consider divided custody
Some owners divide holdings between a certified home safe and professional vault or bank custody. This can balance immediate access with concentration risk. SIRAE cabinetry may complement a room or organise frequently used personal objects, but it is not a substitute for rated bullion storage.
Speak with SIRAE
Visit the SIRAE showroom in Dubai or contact info@siraecasa.com to discuss the collection, preferred layout and placement. Co-created pieces typically require 4–8 weeks for production after the specification is approved.
